Cheryl Ann Masters
A resident of Saugatuck all of her adult life, Cheryl Masters summered in Saugatuck, Michigan as a child. All her daylight hours were spent with her family on the shores of Lake Michigan, where she developed her love of shells, stones, and the colors of the season that are present in her work today.
After teaching three and four-year olds at the local elementary school for twenty-four years, Cheryl decided to answer the call of a different passion and pursue her love of handcrafting jewelry. Using her extensive collection of local beach glass, as well as lamp work beads and gemstones, Cheryl fashions casual jewelry suitable to wear at the beach, at play, or at the office. The “Beach Inspirations” collection is born from her desire to keep the feeling of sun and sand available all year long.
Cheryl and her family pursue the sun year round. Whenever possible, she finds a beach in the tropics where she can soak up the sun while her husband and two children scuba dive. She hopes, whenever you wear one of her pieces, that the calm and beauty of the beach is yours as well.
